Efficient Database for Heating, Sanitary and Pipeline parts
For the design a database with geometrical and technological data of all necessary items is at your disposal. Interfaces like BDH 2.0 and VDI 3805
guarantee that data of renowned manufacturers can be read in. However, you can also adjust and expand the item stock to your individual requirements
yourself at any time. |
Radiator Design
Radiators will be designed corresponding to room-heat-requirements. RUKON suggests appropriate radiators in accordance with
suppliers' rules as well as technological and geometrical restrictions. For quick positioning under windows, in corners etc., you have many extra
features at your disposal. In case these restrictions change the radiators can be designed again - even in the finished design. |
3D-Design of the Heatingsystem
After the automated connection of radiators with a pre-set marked-out route - there is a free selection of connection types - you lay the pipelines in
shape of a three-dimensional line-plan to the central control. There you arrange the boiler, the distributor, pumps, instruments and fixtures. For this
RUKON offers features to position by accurate measure in space, rooms or at existing connections. RUKON guarantees that only pipes and
pipe fittings will be applied which are permitted for the used type of pipeline. For the design of the pipe net you
even have complex features at your disposal for duplication and movement or for the carrying of pipeline parallel to pipe-runs or the body of
construction. When you change the cross-section, RUKON is able to adjust dependent pipe runs automatically.
Pipelines can be alternatively displayed in DIN-line-display or in 3D solid-display. Solid-displays are also output coloured entirely. You can inquire
into information on collisions, connecting data, water volumes and part data at any time. You create entirely dimensioned and labelled fabrication
drawings. |
Automatic Pre-dimensioning
With the integrated pre-dimensioning the pipeline net will be automatically pre-dimensioned according to side conditions. In case restrictions change,
you can dimension the entire pipe net or single stretches of pipe-runs again automatically or optimize them interactively according to your own
requirements. |
Integrated Pipe Net Calculation
RUKON calculates and protocols the pressure loss in double-pipe nets considering pipe friction and KV/Zeta values. Rate and height of flow
for pump selection will be calculated just as setting values of valves for the levelling out of pipe-runs. |
Bills of Materials and Bills of Quantities Automatically
RUKON creates bills of materials of devices, instruments and fixtures, pipe fittings, pipes and bills of quantities for insulation according to
different sorting criteria. For line-plans pipe fittings, pipe-lengths and insulation will be output as well. Drawings can be made in different scales
and formats. They are completed by item labels, pipe-run- and tag-numbers, setting values, indications of insulation as well as information on
flow-rates, heat-capacities, nominal bores and effective velocities. In case these technological values change, the labels will be adjusted
automatically as well. The drawing can be plotted out with hidden-line-removal or entirely coloured. |
Sanitary / Piping
You posit sanitary facilities in the building and bind the connections for drinking water and sewage to floor pipes or downpipes.
You design sewage pipes with the pre-set gradient. RUKON adopts flow values and minimum flow pressure of the sanitary facilities and determines
calculation flow, continuous flow and peak flow according to DIN 1988, part 3. You dimension pipelines for drinking water in accordance with max.
velocity and max. R-value. The differentiated calculation according to DIN 1988 determines and protocols the pressure loss in the most disadvantageous
pipe-run.

With RUKON you design and change quickly and to measure pipeline systems for approx. 100 media. Only pipes, flanges and pipe fittings permitted
for the respective pipeline-type are offered for design.

 Have pipe-type and type of pipe fittings been definitely decided, RUKON is able to cover the dimensioned pipelines automatically with real parts
from the database. The creation of drawings including labelling and the output of material-extracts for pipes, flanges, pipe fittings and insulation is
carried out such as before in the heating module.
